Interventional Radiology Locums in Kentucky - Weekend-Only Shifts

Cover IR weekends in Kentucky with no weekday responsibilities; flexible schedule and APP support.

Highlights

• Friday 5 PM - Monday 8 AM coverage only
• PRN and long-term weekend blocks available

Practice Setting

• Level II trauma center with outpatient IR suite
• No clinic duties; all procedures
• Solo MD coverage with 1-2 APPs
• Epic EMR

Schedule

• Weekend-only (great for supplemental income)
• 30-45 day credentialing
• One site; no floating

Cases and Procedures

• Required: GI angio, thrombectomy, embolization, biopsies, ports, HD caths
• Optional: ablations, nephrostomy, GB tubes, tunneled lines
• CT/US-guided interventions
• 4-8 procedures/day per MD

Requirements

• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
• Active Kentucky license or IMLC LOQ
• DEA required

Travel Accommodations

• Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
• Stay in hospital-owned hotel (includes breakfast/snacks)
